They help with tank filtration, as their porous texture makes for great landing spots for beneficial bacteria to latch onto and form colonies. Lava rocks are a light-weight rock that can also be used to attach Anubias, Java Ferns, and Bucephalandra to.
These small Lava Rocks have pre-drilled holes that are perfect for embedding plants.
